hotheadedidiot[The journal clicks on. Stahn can be heard muttering something to himself before he finally begins to speak into the journal.]
Man, it's just one right after another, isn't it... Shing, Rutee, Leon, Kyle, Nanaly... And now him.
Ahem... Uhhh... I've got some bad news for everyone. Captain Vyse, leader of the Blue Rogues, has been sent home. I guess it must have been sometime this morning. All his things're gone. It's tough to find a guy like him out there, and he'll... [He pauses for a second. Stahn hoped he'd never have to make a post like this, so it's tough to actually do it.] ...Be missed. He was a good captain, but even moreso, a better friend.

Vyse left some letters addressed to you guys. You can come get 'em if you want, but... I'll probably just drop 'em off at your houses anyway.

He also left a letter addressed to all of you too. It'd be kind of a pain to have you all gather up to see it, so I'll just read it off.
[He clears his throat, before speaking.]
"If you're reading this, it means my time finally came. To tell the truth, I wasn't looking forward to leaving. I've made so many friends and seen so many crazy things, this place became like a second home.
When I first came to Luceti, not much was known about this world. I vowed to break out of the barrier and take down the Malnosso so everyone trapped here could get home. Months turned into years and lots of things have changed since then. My feelings are still the same. I want freedom for everyone who's trapped here against their will, with or without the Malnosso's assistance.
The Blue Rogues were formed in Luceti to protect the villagers from threats. Any threats. More importantly, they were formed to unite people who can't sit still while injustice is going on. All members share the same desire to right Luceti's wrongs.
I know you'll do what's right. And if you guys ever get to explore what lies outside the barrier, make sure to plant a flag with my name on it."

Date: 2010-07-13 08:51 pm (UTC)Heh... I'm good at leading people into battle, but... My head's no good. I can't come up with great tactics or cunning plans or any of that stuff. My solution's always just to charge right in, and it's gotten me into a lot of trouble. Without the help of my friends back home, I doubt I'd have gotten anything accomplished.
The Blue Rogues don't need a leader like that. They need someone who can really lead them.
