[It's a lovely, slightly breezy fall day, and Emil is out taking Sial for a walk so that they can enjoy the weather. Or at least, that was the idea. Sial, however, seems to have other plans, as he stops short in the middle of the path and perks up his ears, sniffing at the air. And then... he takes off like a shot towards a certain house that just happens to have an open door at the moment...]

[And what a delicious smell it was. Tonight was the smell of roast beef, freshly pulled out of the oven and set to cool on the table for a few moments. The flavor carried on the wind and flowed out the door of House 4, attempting to entice Sial.]

[ROAST BEEF, YOU SAID? Too bad Stahn made the fatal error of turning his back on it for those few moments, because Sial will just be racing in, bounding up on a chair and then onto the table and digging in.

Emil comes running up behind him, but as he's not as small and fast as the chimera, nomnomings have already commenced by the time he gets inside.]

Sial, wait! Stop that! That's not your dinner!

[Stahn had only tried to finish preparing the mashed potatoes, but apparently even that was too long to wait for Sial. Fortunately, Emil's shout cues Stahn into what's happening. He turns around, holding the pot! ...And promptly drops it as he runs over to try and peel Sial away from the meat.]

[Emil is doing likewise-- or trying, at least. The chimera is small and fast and in the middle of eating and he does NOT want to be interrupted, so he's going to be dodging both of them as best he can while he continues to dart in for bites of the delicious meat.]

I'm really sorry! He just ran off before I could stop him!

[Leon was around the center of town, looking up at the lit trees under the night sky. The snow was light, and everyone else was joyously celebrating Christmas together in their warm dorms and houses.

Of course, not Leon here. The grump will always be a grump no matter when or where.

The young man was wearing a winter cloak that was outlined with thick fur. It covered down to his knees, so only a fraction of his cape could be seen.]

[His eyes were presenting nostalgia of the holidays he would spend at his old home.]

[This was Stahn's fourth Christmas in Luceti--and his first after returning to the village he managed to leave behind once. It was one of those times that managed to always make him think of home... Sitting at a table with Lilith and his grandpa, his aunt and uncle... And well, a large portion of the village, honestly. Everyone would join in and have a big feast, and there'd be a party, and everyone would give gifts to each other, and they were all so happy... He wasn't sure who made the tradition up or how long it's been going on Lienea, but... He liked it. It was a good tradition, and he was happy Luceti had something similar. It was a joy everyone should have the honor of experiencing.

...Speaking of joy... Was that Leon Stahn spotted in the plaza? What's he doing out? Not that he's complaining about seeing him again, but... it's so strange to see him out.

He'd better take advantage of this opportunity.]
